Farmer infuriated by family feud grants half his property to pet dog
Varma was initially angered by family disputes when he wrote the will.
Om Narayan Varma, an Indian farmer, has listed his wife Champa Bai and his pet dog Jacky as the two heirs to his property in his will. His decision was influenced by continued family conflicts.
Varma has said in his will that he adores both his wife and pet dog for taking care of him.
The will also states that Jacky’s share of the property could be used by anyone who looks after him after his death.

Varma was initially angered by family disputes when he wrote the will. However, according to details, the feuds were later resolved.
“The infamous will contains my dog’s name but also my wife’s Champa Bai’s name. I assigned a share of my property to my dog to make sure my family takes care of him after my demise. But, the issue has been seen to now.” he told.
Varma’s property includes about 21 acres of land. He has two wives and has two daughters and one son from the first one, whereas only one son from the second. Champa Bai, the one who takes care of him, is his second wife.
