Fawad Chaudhry reveals the date of Eid-Ul-Adha, Zillhajjah moon sighting

Not only did Fawad predict the moon sighting of Eid-ul-Adha, but he also foretold the moon sighting of Zilhajjah.

The Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, has announced the date of Eid-ul-Adha based on the Ministry of Science’s five-year lunar calendar. According to him, Eid-e-Qurban will be celebrated on Friday, 31st July.

The Minister, Fawad Hussain, took to Twitter to announce this news.

“As per the calendar of Ministry of Science and Technology, Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Friday, 31st July 2020. On 21st July, Zilhajjah moon shall be sighted all over Karachi and its peripheral areas. “Ruet” App can be used to ascertain the exact location of the moon,” the minister wrote.

 

Not only did Fawad predict the moon sighting of Eid-ul-Adha, but he also foretold the moon sighting of Zilhajjah. He revealed that the moon will be seen all over Karachi and its adjacent areas on Tuesday, the 21st of July. The announcement on his Twitter handle also mentions the App named “Ruet”, that can help determine the exact location of the moon.

It is pertinent to mention here that, previously, the Minister of Science and Technology predicted the exact Eid-ul-Fitr date a month before the actual moon sighting. This highlights Fawad Ch’s history of predicting the correct moon sighting dates for significant Islamic months and both Eids. He credits all his predictions to the Ministry of Science and Technology’s five-year lunar calendar.
