The MG HS has recently entered the Pakistani auto market with a bang. The vehicle has brought tough competition to the Tucson, the car with an already prevalent strong presence in the country.

The MG HS comes with a 1500cc turbocharged engine, with 160hp and 250Nm Torque. Meanwhile, Tucson features a 2000cc Naturally-Aspirated engine, which produces 155hp and 196Nm.


The MG’s car flaunts a 7-speed Auto Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), while the Hyundai’s SUV showcases a 6-Speed Auto Triptronic transmission.

Cruise Control: 

The MG HS features Adaptive Cruise Control, which controls speed as per traffic on the road. On the other hand, Hyundai’s SUV comes with Speed Limiter Cruise Control, which keeps the car’s speed constant.

Hyundai Tucson showcases Rear Cameras, while MG’s SUV comes with 360-Degree Cameras, giving the driver a view from all sides.

MG HS comes with both Lane-Assist System and Paddle Shifters, while the Tucson doesn’t have any of these features.

Wireless Charging-MG HS Vs. Hyundai Tucson: 

Hyundai Tucson flaunts Wireless Charging, while the MG’s vehicle doesn’t feature this option.

Cornering Lights: 

Tucson has the ability of Cornering Lights, making the drive safer and more comfortable at night, while the MG HS does not offer this option.

Rain Sensors: 

MG’s vehicle features Rain Sensors. On the other hand, Hyundai Tucson does not flaunt this technology.


MG HS’s cost is Rs. 5.5million, while Hyundai Tucson’s price is Rs. 5.6million.

  • MG have better specs speciallybadaptiv cruise control if its standard while Tucsan has big brand on its back, MG seems petrol and Tyscan is diesel i think.

  • Only for elite or uper class even now a days middle class can’t afford mehran vx. Allah Almighty bring prosperity and justice in our beloved country

  • I do have a 2018 Hyundai Tucson, although it’s been a good car with no problems, I am going to buy an 2021 mg hs automatic, the reason for this I want more luxury, I’ve chosen pearl white with red seats, I’ve always wanted this and MG have made my dreams come true after all these years of waiting and at a great price, if you had these features on a different make it would cost you thousands more, Very well done to the designers of mg, and hope mg have great success with it, ( hope you keep prices like this in the future).
