FIA arrests a gang teaching black magic courses on YouTube and making millions off of it

According to media reports, Multan’s Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) crime wing arrested a group of people running online black magic courses. Sources state that the group was spreading the power of witchcraft via YouTube channels. Their business was gaining tremendous traction, which soon led to their downfall.

Did the group earn money from their business?

The suspects gained millions of rupees from their business on YouTube and other social media platforms. The group also solved problems being faced by people. Their clients usually included people with love-marriage issues and those wanting to have children.

Moreover, the gang also blackmailed female clients by taking their pictures, making videos, and then asking for money. People became suspicious of the gang when they suddenly started living a luxurious life.

FIA involvement

The YouTube channels were eventually noted by the FIA. Authorities took measures to block the dozen YouTube channels employed by the group for video posting.

How did the agency track the gang’s location?

A media channel reported that the agency tracked the whereabouts of the group using the available information. The FIA learned that the gang operated from their studios at Mehrab Hotel in Jatoi, Muzaffargarh. They visited the location and arrested the group.

Those running the channels included Mehr Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Shahbaz, Jahangir Akhtar, Amir Raza, Irfan Shah and Muhammad Shah. These people claimed to be experts in practising magic, using owl blood and meat.
