First-ever tourism app and web portal launched by KP Government

The app is called 'KPtourism'.


  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched a dedicated tourism app and web portal.
  • All the information related to hotels, booking, etc is available on the said portals. 
  • Available for download on iOS and Play Store. 

In a bid to promote tourism in the province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched a dedicated mobile application and web portal. Senior provincial minister Atif Khan launched the application on Wednesday.

The website and app will help to promote tourism in the province and also attract foreign tourists as it will be a one-stop for information and guidance. All the information related to hotels, tour operators, tracking, restaurants bookings, tourist resorts, lakes, and weather will be available on the said platforms.

It means that the visitors, particularly the foreign tourists who are unfamiliar with the local language, will have an advanced, easy and hassle-free experience.

Both website and application have scenic beauty of KP and the relevant data so, tourists can pick a place of their choice.

‘KP Tourism’ App:


The app is available for both iOS and Android, with the name ‘KP Tourism’ and is available for download. Senior Minister for Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Culture, Museums and Youth Affairs, Atif Khan, delivered the news via Twitter on Wednesday.


Speaking at the launch ceremony Atif Khan said that they are hopeful for KP’s developing tourism factor has a lot of potential and with improving Pakistan’s image on a global level, it will create job opportunities to engage the youth as well.

“The government was investing heavily in tourism that will help create new jobs, lead towards development in the region and strengthen the economy,” Atif said, speaking at the launch ceremony.

The application ‘KPtourism’ is available for smartphone users. Android users can download from here and here for Apple users.
