The Friends reunion buzz had encompassed the entire globe last week, with millions of fans excited to see their favorite stars back on screen together.
When all six of the star members from the nineties iconic comedy series reunited for the first time in 17 years since the show ended in 2004, their reunion was all anyone could talk about.
It was reported by a source that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer were all offered a whopping amount of $1million for the HBO Max special, but they turned it down.
The actors then reached a settlement that each of them would at least be paid between $2.5million to 3 million, after which they were ready to sit down and reminisce the ten years they spent together on the set of Friends.
The reunion episode was filmed on the show’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot and was more successful than anyone had expected.
According to USA Today, “On top of all of the pay the six of them have received for filming over the years, the cast also gets about $20 million each year, in syndication payments”.
