From Sonam Bajwa to Gippi Garewal, Indian Punjabi stars reveal their favorite Pakistani celebrities

Pakistani celebrities are not only famous amongst the Indian masses but they are also loved by famous Indian actors.

Here are the Indian Punjabi actors who revealed their favorite Lollywood celebrities:

Sonam Bajwa – Sajal Aly

Sonam Bajwa is amongst the most sought-after Punjabi actresses of her generation. In an interview with BBC Asian Network, the actress said,” I am the biggest, biggest fan of Sajal Aly; she is phenomenal. I feel so happy sharing that I’ve learned so much from her; Sajal is extraordinary. She is the best actress and the finest actress of our times, and I really look up to her”.

Sonam added, “I am watching Alif, Mere Pass Tum Ho, and Yeh Dil Mera. I know everything about what is happening in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, I know many celebrities, and I know everything. I have some close Pakistani friends; I know Sajal and Rabia Butt personally. I religiously follow their dramas, and I think they are so amazing.”

Gippy Grewal – Mehwish Hayat

In 2019, Gippy Grewal visited Pakistan and expressed his desire to work with Mewhish Hayat as he liked her work in the movie Punjab Nahi Jaungi. Hayat even thanked the Punjabi superstar for his remarks.

Yograj Singh – Mustafa Qureshi

In an interview, Yograj Singh revealed that he was a big fan of Mustafa Qureshi. Yograj even said that he copied Qureshi’s acting style in many of his films.

Gurpreet Ghughi – Sohail Ahmed

Gurpet Ghughi is a big fan of the famous Pakistani actor and comedian Sohail Ahmed. He further went on to say that he loves Ahmed’s comic timing.

Arminder Gill – Iftikhar Thakhur

The famous Indian Punjabi actor Arminder Singh, who has appeared in two movies with Iftikhar Thakur, said he admired his (Iftikhar’s) work.

Simi Chahal – Nasir Chinyoti

Simi Chahal worked with the legendary comedian in the movie Chal Mera putt 2. During the film’s promotions, she expressed admiration for Nasir’s craft.

Kapil Sharma – Amanullah Khan

Kapil praised the late Amanullah Khan in his interviews and tweeted on the veteran comedian’s sad demise.

Chandan Prabhakar – Amanullah Khan

Prabhakar, who is famous for his character Chandu on The Kapil Sharma Show, revealed his grief on the death of Amanullah Khan and even stated that he is a big fan of Khan.
