‘Get Out!’- Palestinians Kick Out UAE delegation From Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque

The visit came as Israel and Bahrain signed a deal on Sunday formalizing their diplomatic relations.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is regarded as the third holiest site for Muslims.

Palestinians forcefully removed a United Arab Emirates (UAE) delegation from the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the world’s third-holiest site for Muslims, over the UAE’s normalization deal with Israel, which is considered by many as an act of treachery against the Palestinians.

A video posted on the Palestinian Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s Facebook page shows the moment an Emirati delegation is dismissed after they entered the holy site with Israeli police shelter.

In the footage, a brave Palestinian man accuses the Emirati delegation about the deal and asks them to leave immediately. After a short skirmish, the group is seen leaving the mosque.

The visit came as Israel and Bahrain signed a deal on Sunday formalizing their diplomatic relations.

The Palestinian Prime Minister, Muhammad Shtayyeh described the agreement as a “free reward to the Israeli occupation to inspire it to confiscate more Palestinian land and build more settlements.”

“Al-Aqsa Mosque shall be entered via the gate of its owners, not via the gate of the illegal Israeli occupation,” Shtayyeh said during the weekly Cabinet meeting on Monday.

“It’s sad to see some Arab delegations entering the compound via the Israeli gate, while worshippers are rejected access to it to perform their prayers,” he said.

Last year, the Palestinians also effectively removed Mohammed Saud, a pro-Israel Saudi journalist, from the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound.
