Girl gang-raped on gunpoint in Karachi company allegedly by PPP leader, accomplices

The victim lodged an FIR, but the police refused to take further action against the rapist due to his political background.

A girl named Saima Parveen has accused the Pakistan People’s Party leader and the Vice President PPP Rawalpindi division, Nasir Abbas Khan Bangu, of raping her.

According to details, the victim met a woman named Hina in regards to a job. On the 3rd of September, Hina called Saima to meet her at Karachi Company in G-9 Islamabad. When the victim reached there, a black vehicle took Saima along with Hina to an unknown location.

According to the victim’s statement, the location was an office. Saima stated that the office belongs to the Vice President, who, along with his accomplices, started sexually abusing her in front of Hina. One of the men pulled out a gun at Saima. The main accused, Nasir Abbas, along with his men, raped the victim twice and fled the scene.

The victim lodged an FIR, but the police refused to take further action against the rapist due to his political background.

According to the victim, the SHO threatened her to withdraw the FIR in support of the accused. He also forced her to sign some ‘consent papers,’ or he would remove her FIR. After that, the girl reached out to social media for help.
