Google is planning on disrupting the College Degree through its new certificate program
The three paid courses, first announced last August, are available on Coursera.
Google has been launching many initiatives to help job seekers, including opening enrollment for its three career certification courses.
The three paid courses, first announced last August, are available on Coursera and allow people to receive the equivalent of a four-year degree in as little as six months.
To start, Google is offering programs in Data Analytics, Project Management, and User Experience (UX) Design.
Along with opening enrollment for these courses, Google has announced new ways for certificate holders to get hired and improve the job hunting experience in Google Search.

Enrollment is open for Google Career Certificates in the following fields:
- Data Analyst: This course will help you use tools and platforms to process, examine, visualize, and gain insights from data.
- Project Manager: You can learn traditional project management foundations and gain insight into agile project management.
- UX Designer: It will help you learn the basics of UX design and research, developing low-fidelity designs and wireframes, creating high-fidelity models, and testing.
Courses can be taken for $39 per month, which means the total price depends on how quickly one finishes each course.
The Google SVP of Global Affairs, Kent Walker, has gone on record saying the company will treat these certificates the same as a four-year degree in a related field.
However, if you are in the United States, in that case, once you complete a Google Career Certificate, you will be able to connect directly to over 130 employers to jump-start your job search.
