Government to launch cards for the youth to provide subsidy on travel tickets and passport fee
Youth Empowerment Card will help youth to utilize all civic services like travel tickets, fees for passport and subsidized rate Computerized NIC.

The role of all citizens for a progressive future is important, whereas the involvement of youth in national development is necessary. The policies and development of a nation can only be made possible by the young lot. Therefore, the government of Pakistan is taking every possible step to empower them and is taking many initiatives in this regard.
Youth Empowerment Card
The government is planning to introduce the Youth Empowerment Card, that will help the youth to be financially independent and empowered.
This step is being taken in collaboration with the Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program (PMYAP) and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
Prime Minister Khan’s official advisor to PMYAP, while talking to media, said that the Youth Empowerment Card will let youth utilize all civic services at subsidized rates. These services include travel tickets, fees for passport and subsidized rate Computerized National identity Card (NIC).
He further said that the basic information will be collected through NADRA. With the Youth Empowerment Card, youngsters will get Rs. 4000 and Rs. 5000 each.
An official of the Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program said that the government is committed to facilitating youth by all means.

PTI working for Youth
Recently the government of PTI has taken many progressive steps for the development and empowerment of youth.
Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Program is considered as one of the most ambitious youth initiatives. A few days back, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Pakistan’s largest undergrad scholarship program. This program will facilitate 200,000 students for the next four years.
