Govt Introduces Digital Payment System For Ehsaas Kifalat Program To Ensure Transparency
Government has introduced a digital payment system for its upcoming initiative, Ehsaas Kifalat, to ensure transparency by minimizing the retailer’s monopoly. The Ehsaas Kifalat program will be launched by the Prime Minister Imran Khan on the 31st of this month.
Today, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr. Sania Nishtar, inaugurated an HBL ATM in this regard.

Before this, a certain amount of money was unlawfully deducted by the retailers across the country. Now, the Ehsaas beneficiaries will get the full amount of money without any deduction through the biometric ATMs.
According to Dr. Sania Nishtar, millions of poor women will be paid 2,000 rupees every month under Ehsaas Kifalat program. She added that the government has partnered with HBL and Bank Alfala.
Ehsaas Kifalat program beneficiaries can receive their monthly payments at different ATMs of these banks following biometric verification.
