Govt Invites PTM For Talks to Address Their Grievances
Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak has invited the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) for negotiation to address their grievances. The Federal Minister was on a weekly visit to his native Nowshera.
“We want to bring the PTM into the national mainstream as the country is passing through a difficult period of its history,” said Parvez Khattak.
Parvez Khattak lauded the people of erstwhile tribal districts for the great amount of sacrifices they rendered for the country. The defence minister also stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan believes in the finding a solution for all the issues through talks.
Moreover, Parvez Khattak also expressed the government’s commitment to the development of merged tribal districts.
“The prevailing regional situation demands that all stakeholders must join hands to put the country on the road to development and prosperity,” Parvez Khattak added.
Mr. Khattak slammed the Indian government for its brutal acts of human rights violations in Kashmir as well as in different parts of India.
