Kot Radha Kishen road is taking a heavy toll on the life of residents of nearby villages because of large potholes and severe damage.

Kot Radha Kishan has been in the news due to the lynching and arsenal of Shahzad and Hamza – a Christian couple who were burned alive in the brick kiln by the charged mob.

But this time the news is different. The residents of Union Council-121 of Tensile Kot Radha Kishan are facing severe traveling difficulties because the only road that connects the area with the hospital facility is in the grim situation for years, a local source confirmed.

Also, the ambulance facility to the residents is confronted with the operational capabilities due to frequently large and deep-seated potholes. This ambulance service was provided by the Youth Awareness Organization which a non-profit organization working for public welfare, Majid Ali who is the President at YAO told our correspondent.

Kot Radha Kishan road has traveling time exceeding an hour and 10 minutes with a total distance of about 35 kilometers. It is a shared route from Kasur to Kot Radha joining nearby localities.

The frequency of accidents is very high on that road due to the heavy traffic of industries. Most of the heavy traffic comes from Bulley Shah Paper Mil Kasur.

Other heavy traffic of Trolleys loaded with Agricultural items, which are shifted to Market, also causes more damage to the already broken navigation facility.  People there are waiting for action by the concerned authorities to get their issue resolved.
