Haider Ali Names His Idol Cricketer: No, Its Not Babar or Kohli
Haider Ali represented Peshawar Zalmi in the recently held Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Pakistan emerging young talent, Haider Ali, has named explosive Indian batsman Rohit Sharma as his idol batsman.
During an interview with Cricket Pakistan, the 19-year-old revealed that the Indian batsman is his idol.
“My idol is Rohit Sharma. The best thing about him is his strike rate and I want that in my game,” said the 19-year-old Haider Ali.
The Peshawar Zalmi’s player credited his family for all the success he has achieved so far. He added that without the support of family a player can never be a better cricketer.
Talking about his cricket journey, Ali said that he had started playing cricket with tap ball cricket. He went on to add that he had joined a cricket club in 2015 and played for Rawalpindi region in 2016.

Haider Ali represented Peshawar Zalmi in the recently held Pakistan Super League (PSL). The right-handed batsman managed to score 239 runs in nine matches .
His brilliant batting during the tournament earned him the praise of former cricketers including Ramiz Raja. Raja termed Haider as talented as Babar Azam and Virat Kohli.
