Here are the best selling cars of Pakistan in April 2022
The recent increase in prices have affected both the automakers and the customers.
Auto manufacturers such as Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) sold less cars in April 2022.
Here we will be taking a look at the best selling cars of April 2022 in Pakistan:
5. Suzuki Cultus
Suzuki could sell only 306 units of Cultus in March this year. However, the number jumped to 1,745 in April, making it the fifth most sold car in Pakistan last month. It saw an increase of 470% in its sales during the month of April.
4. Suzuki Wagon R
Wagon R has been a top performer when it comes to sales in Pakistan this year. As many as 1,823 units of Wagon R were sold last month. It has made the list of best selling cars in the country for the third consecutive time.
3. Suzuki Swift
Earlier this year, Suzuki replaced the decade old model with the new generation Swift. The latest hatchback by Suzuki left behind Toyota Yaris and Honda City in monthly sales. According to the data released by PAMA, a total of 2,273 units were sold in April by PSMC.
2. Toyota Corolla
Toyota Corolla has been Pakistan’s best selling sedan for the fourth consecutive month this year. Its the second best selling car of April 2022 as Toyota IMC sold 2,444 units, more than Honda City and Toyota Yaris.
1. Suzuki Alto
Alto has once again become the best selling car for the fourth consecutive month this year. A total of 5,009 units of the Alto were sold in April. The reasons for its higher sales are: being favourite among ride-hailing services, smaller price and optimal fuel economy.
