Here are the expected tickets prices for Pakistan vs Australia series
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly decided to keep the tickets prices of Pakistan vs Australia series as low as possible. The cricket board wants to attract as many people as they can to watch the historic series.
The series will start with a test match at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on March 4th followed by two more red-ball cricket matches and four white-ball matches. According to reports, the PCB will be offering cheaper tickets to the fans for the Pakistan vs Australia series.
The most expensive per day ticket will not exceed Rs. 500 during the test matches. Similarly, the general stands ticket will be available for as low as Rs. 100. The ticket prices will be between Rs. 100 – 500 during the test series.
The decision has been taken to enable the fans to see Test series live. Since the Australian national cricket team will be here after 24 years, the PCB has decided to provide maximum opportunity to the cricket fans to turn to stadiums to watch live action. That is why we have set nominal ticket prizes. We cannot go less than that as some discipline has to be followed when it comes to entry into the ground. This is the cheapest ever offer for any Test and that too for a series that is expected to be tough and intriguing,” a source told a local news outlet.
The source further added that temporary seats have been installed in major portion of the stadium. “The amount we expect from the sale of tickets cannot even meet the expenditures, yet we want to keep tickets at low prices, enabling even low-income earners to enjoy Test series action.”
The Pindi Cricket Stadium has the capacity to host around 16000 to 17000 spectators. PCB hasn’t kicked-off its campaign for the Pakistan-Australia series due to the PSL. The series logo will be unveiled in the next few days. The tickets are also expected to go on sale in a day or two.
