The Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rate in Pakistan has observed the highest deceleration in a single month coming down from 14.6 per cent in January to 12.4 per cent in February.

The annual inflation rate of the country increased to 13.07 per cent in January 2020 from 12.42 per cent in the previous month.

The inflation rate was the highest since June 2011, mostly boosted by prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages (19.3 per cent vs 16.9 per cent in December).
