Here’s the list of Pakistani players signed by English counties for 2022 season

Shaheen Afridi will be playing in the County Championship

As many as 10 Pakistani players will be representing different counties during the 2022 season. Here are all the players who will be seen in action this season.

Azhar Ali:

The right handed batter will be representing Worcestershire and he will be available for the entire County Championship 2022.

Hasan Ali:

The right arm fast bowler will be part of the Lancashire for as many as six games during the County Championship. He will be available for his team’s opening match against Kent from 14th April.

Mohammad Abbas:

Although, it is still not clear how many matches will Mohammad Abbas play but he will be available to play for the Hampshire for at least the opening two months.

Mohammad Rizwan

The wicket-keeper batter will represent Sussex in both County Championship and the T20 Blast until mid-July.

Naseem Shah

Naseem Shah impressed with his performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), taking 14 wickets, as well as in the series against Australia. He has signed for the County Championship and for the T20 Blast as an overseas player.

Haris Rauf

Rauf has been one of the top bowlers in the T20 format. He will represent Yorkshire in the first six games of County Championship and the first five games of T20 blast.

Shadab Khan

Shadab Khan will be joining his national cricket team’s teammate Haris Rauf to play for Yorkshire. He will be available for the 11 matches of the T20 blast.

Shaheen Shah Afridi

The left arm pacer is without a doubt the most dangerous fast bowler in the world cricket right now. He will play for Middlesex in all formats until mid-July.

Shan Masood

The left handed batter who was in impressive form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be representing Derbyshire in all the formats.

Zafar Gohar

Gohar will play for the Gloucestershire across all the formats. Last year, he picked up 20 wickets at 14.35 in four County Championship games.
