Hira Mani criticized for saying husbands who taunt wives on their weight are better partners
Hira added that to keep her going, Mani would mock her and give examples of Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone.
Hira Mani is one to have her opinions known, regardless of how controversial they may be. The Do Bol actress often makes headlines for the right and wrong reasons.
During an interview with Geo News, she talked about her personal life. While talking about her weight, she said she had no trainer to assist her in her weight loss, so Mani helped her. She went on to say that her weight increased to ’64 kgs,’ and seeing a drama of her further motivated her to lose weight.
‘Mei ne apna drama dekha tou mujhe laga ye kon hai aunty barri se,’ the actress said. She proceeded to say that she lost 10 kgs in three months, with the help of her husband. Hira added that to keep her going, Mani would mock her and give examples of Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone.
‘Ye mujhe itnay tan’ay data hai, wo dekho Katrina ko, Kareena… Kareena tou ab moti hogaye hai.’
She would reply that she is not Deepika and has two kids, but he would continue to taunt her. Hira went on to say that husbands who mock their wives for their weight are better, as this ‘helps’ them to lose weight.
The public did not take well to this comment and criticized Hira for promoting body shaming.
Here is what the people have to say:
Prior to this, Hira Mani was trolled for photoshopping her waist in a photo she uploaded to her social media. Some pointed out that she was thin and still so unhappy with herself that she had to edit her pictures before posting them.
Hira is a versatile actress, who is a fundamental part of the entertainment world and has played the protagonist in many drama serials.

Hira and Mani both are notorious for their reckless posts.
Their only desire is to remain in news how so ever.
As far as this statement is concerned I think it’s ok, coz it has to do with the mutual understanding between wife n husband. They know each other better than anyone else.
Surely Hira is not that kind of a woman who would bear her husband’s remarks just out of modesty.
