How can Pakistanis earn money through YouTube Shorts in 2023
Content creators will be given money to run ads on short videos
Following changes to its policies, YouTube has now made it easier for Pakistanis to earn money through YouTube Shorts from February 2023.
YouTube Shorts is a relatively recent feature of the video-streaming website, where content creators can share short videos like on TikTok.
How Pakistanis can earn money through YouTube Shorts in 2023
Content creators will be given money to run ads on short videos. Furthermore, when the advertisements will run on Shorts, around 45% of the earnings will be given to content creators. If a content creator gets ten million views on a YouTube Short video, he/she may be able to earn as much as $900. The amount a creator earns from the clips can vary.
However, YouTube has made it clear, for Shorts, that you will not be able to earn on videos that have already been uploaded on some other website, and no earnings will be made by editing clips of a movie or a song. Content creators who are under 18 years of age also have to add their parents in terms of consent.
Monetize your YouTube channel;
Now, the question that remains is how to monetize your YouTube channel. In order to do so, you have two options: either you can have 4,000 hours of content (not Shorts) within a year or have 10 million views on all YouTube shorts within 90 days. Either way, it is essential for your YouTube channel to have a minimum of 1,000 subscribers to qualify for monetization.
This change is a part of a broader update to YouTube’s Partner Program, which requires YouTube’s partners to sign new innovative terms on whether or not they want to monetize their Shorts. The website is also introducing a modular system for the Partner Program’s terms. Under this, everyone in the program might have to sign a base agreement that highlights what content can be posted on the site and how these payments work.
