Ricky Ponting has named The Sultan of Swing, Wasim Akram, as one of the best fast bowlers he faced in his career.
The former Australian Captain also named the Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Akhtar, as the quickest fast bowler he padded up against. During a question session with his fans on Twitter, the Aussie legend was quizzed about the bowler he least liked facing.
Ricky Ponting named Wasim Akram and Curtly Ambrose as the best fast bowlers he faced.
“Wasim Akram and Curtly Ambrose were easily the best fast bowlers I’ve ever faced. Shoaib Akhtar clearly the quickest but Harbhajan Singh got me out more than anybody,” wrote Ponting.
