Inside Ideas 9 ‘majlis’ that was attended by Shias and Sunnis together [PICTURES]

What a heart-warming sight!

Recently, a non-governmental organization (NGO), Ideas 9, organized a majlis for inter-sect and interfaith harmony. The NGO invited people from different sects to the majlis to bring the people together in the month of Muharram.

Ideas 9 took to Facebook to invite people to the majlis by posting videos and pictures. The NGO shared:

What happened at the majlis?

Several religious scholars were present at the majlis. They took turns narrating the historical events that transpired in Karbala.

A great crowd of people from different religious sects came and sat down for the majlis. The incident of Karbala brought many people together on one platform.

At the end of the event, plants were distributed among the participants as a sign of faith and harmony for all.
