[IN PICTURES] ‘Peace rally’ from Karachi to Gwadar going in style
The rally will be welcomed in Gwadar today.
The efforts and sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces have paid off as Karachi to Gwadar Peace Rally kicked off on Friday.
Carrying the message of friendship and love, the rally comprising 50 cars and as many motorbikes headed towards Gwadar took off from Karachi early on Friday morning.
Aimed at advancing peace in Balochistan, the first phase of the rally saw 50 motorbikers who hail from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad taking the Mai Kolachi Road to head to their destination.
In the second phase, 50 cars also followed the same route to head to Gwadar.
By evening they had all traveled 650km. The enthusiasm and passion of the riders and motorists were encouraging.
On arrival at Hub, the local administration and the people warmly welcomed the rally participants and welcomed them to the province.
Painted in the colors of Pakistan’s national flag, this charming rally will reach Gwadar via the picturesque beaches of Kund Malir, Ormara, and Pasni.
This rally is a great attempt to show the world the incomparable beauty of Pakistan and its breathtaking views of hundreds of kilometers of coastline.
The rally will be welcomed in Gwadar on Saturday (today), where the rally’s participants will mingle with the locals of Gwadar to enjoy the natural beauty and hospitality of the local youth of the newly developed port city.
The participants of the peace rally will leave for Karachi on Sunday.
