Indian cricketers all praise for Pakistan cricket team

Former Indian cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar, termed the defeat an "absolute hammering."

Former India cricketers just cannot stop lauding the Pakistan cricket team after their victory against India last night. Pakistan finally put an end to their 12-match losing streak against the arch rivals.

The Former Indian cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar, termed the defeat as an “absolute hammering.” “It’s not a big loss. The loss is an absolute hammering as far as India is concerned,” the legendary cricketer said.

Former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra stated that those who thought Pakistan won’t make it to the semi finals were underestimating them.

“In their pool, there are three strong teams India, Pakistan, and New Zealand. But in the T20s, anyone can beat anyone. The manner in which Pakistan won, people will stand up and take notice,” Ashish Nehra said.

Harbajhan Singh hoped that India will learn from their mistakes and come back stronger. He also complimented ‘Pakistan for their brilliant win.’

“Well done Pakistan,” wrote Virender Sehwag on his Twitter account.

Suresh Raina congratulated the Pakistan cricket team on winning.

VVS Laxman praised the performances from Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan. He also called the Pakistani skipper a special talent.

“This is all class from Pakistan, what a partnership,” wrote Mohammad Kaif.
