Indian Fans Claim KL Rahul Was Given Out On A No-Ball, Aakash Chopra Gives Them A Shut Up Call

According to some Indian fans, the ball that took Rahul's wickets bails off should have been called a no-ball.

Aakash chopra Shaheen Shah Afridi wreaked havoc against India last night with a Man of the Match Performance. The left arm fast bowler finished with 3/31, taking the crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli.

Shaheen Shah Afridi sent Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion on a duck in the first over. The next batsman to get bamboozled by the Pakistan’s number 10 was the in form KL Rahul. The Indian batsman could only score 3 runs.

However, according to some Indian fans, the ball that took Rahul’s wickets bails off should have been called a no-ball. The Indian fans think the Pakistani fast bowler overstepped the line.

Now, former Indian cricketer, Aakash Chopra, has given a shut up call to the Indian fans. Chopra took to his Twitter account and asked the Indian fans to ‘stop the nonsensical theories.’

The cricketer-turned-commentator explained why Shaheen Shah Afridi’s ball was totally legitimate. Aakaash Chopra said: “First point of impact is what matters and not where the foot finishes. And the first point of impact was behind the crease. It was a legit delivery.”
