Indians have A LOT to say after T-Series takes down Atif Aslam’s song ‘Kinna Sona’
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam who is best known for blessing Bollywood industry with songs like Woh Lamhe, Pehli Nazar Mein, Tu Jaane Na, and many others, has been the center of attention for the past few days.
Recently, T-Series released Atif Aslam’s version for ‘Kinna Sona’ from the movie ‘Marjavaan’ on their YouTube channel. However, within two days of releasing the song, hashtag #AtifAslamNotWelcome took the internet by storm, and the music company had to take it down because of the severe backlash.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and their President of Cine Wing issued a stern warning to T-Series and demanded to take the song down.

Without a second thought, the music label turned down the song. It also apologized for not complying with the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA), which has banned artists from Pakistan, working across the border.
However, many Indians condemned the decision and started the hashtags #IndiaLovesAtifAslam and #WeWantAtifAslamSongsBack to show their support for the artist and the art!

Among many supporters, Singer Tony Kakkar also ensured his share of voice. He took to his Twitter to support Atif Aslam but deleted the tweet after facing a severe backlash.
