Insaf Taleem Card: Eligibility Criteria and How to apply

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has announced that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has completed the ‘Insaf Taleem Card.’

The card has will benefit 244,000 students in government colleges across the province of KP. In his tweet, Imran Khan wrote that 100% of the fee will be waived off with the card.

Students who apply for the card will get a monthly stipend to help bear the expenses of their education. The card is part of the Ehsaas program of the government. The main target of the initiative is to encourage students to get an education.

The provincial government has digitalized the Insaf Taleem Card system. Students have the facility to submit family credentials online for the program. All districts of KP are eligible for the Insaf Taleem Card Program.

How to apply for the card

The facility is for deserving students, who come from underprivileged families. The Head of the schools and the principals will have to verify the application form.

Other requirements are:

  • 70% of attendance is necessary
  • The age of the students should be 14 to 24 years

The government will offer the Insaf Taleem scholarship stipend after biometric verification. Mothers of the students will be able to collect the stipend from nominated cash centers of banks. The departments will send text messages or emails to students for the stipend, and the amount is different for inter, primary, and other classes.
