The Spyware is developed by the Israeli NSO group that can be covertly installed on Android and IOS mobile phones. It was used to target smartphones of Politicians, Activists, and Journalists worldwide.
It operates by sending an exploit link to the target user through messages (SMS, Whatsapp, iMessage)which, if clicked, downloads malware onto the device without the user’s knowledge or authorization.
IPRI Infolytics| #PegasusProject is a damning expose of one of the biggest surveillance rackets run by several countries of their citizens, officials, journalists & political leaders, threatening the very democratic values of our society.
