Irfan Hussain, a student from the Orakzai tribal district, has developed a testing kit for COVID-19. These affordable testing kits can guarantee 20,000 tests on a daily basis.

If successful, the kits can be a game-changer for Pakistan, considering how limited testing facilities and kits are at the moment.

Hussain is currently doing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Quaid-e-Azam University and developed the test kits using his own resources.

He has ensured that once authorized, the kits will cost Rs. 200 or less. This is another plus point since tests being conducted at the moment are expensive and only available to people who can afford them.

The details of Hussain’s invention have been shared with the National Institute of Health (NIH) and he has high hopes that it’ll receive the green light.

Irfan comes from an underdeveloped area. It has no developments in pursuit as there are no venues for even basic necessities.

Good job! why the word, ” allegedly” would be used to mention this great work. This word doesn’t have positive connotations!
