Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan will reportedly be available for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final on Sunday.

He had left the PSL earlier due to the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh series.

Now, according to media reports, the leg spinner will be available for the big final. The PSL final will be played between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.

Earlier, Paul Stirling and Alex Hales had also joined the Islamabad United after leaving the PSL midway. This is indeed a huge boost for the Qalandars squad, who will be hoping to win their first ever PSL title.

The leg-spinner took 13 wickets for the Qalandars in the nine matches he played this season.

According to details, the Lahore Qalandars management will arrange for Khan’s departure from Bangladesh and then flying him back for the third ODI against Bangladesh the same night. Sources have claimed that a chartered plane will be in use for Rashid Khan.

Update: Rashid Khan isn’t coming

The Afghan cricketer has announced that he will not be joining the Qalandars squad for the PSL final. “I won’t be able to make it for the finals due to National Duty which is always a first priority,” he said.
