Islamabad police bars hotels from hosting PTI protestors

Islamabad Police has barred all hotels and guesthouses in the district from giving rooms to the participants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march.

PTI‘s long march was initiated yesterday and the federal government has ordered police to complete their preparations in this regard too.

The police has ordered all guesthouses and hotels in the district, through a notice, not to rent out rooms to the march participants. The hotels have been told not to cooperate with the participants.

To check if the hotels are complying with the order ot not, Islamabad police will check all the guesthouses on a regular basis till the march ends. If any hotel is found providing rooms to the or giving any sort of support to those who are a part of the long march, then strict actions would be taken against them.

Preparations of Islamabad Police for PTI’s longmarch

In addition to this, Islamabad Police has completed curating a security plan for the march. More than 1300 security personnel would be appointed for the march. The personnels would be supervised by 2 DIGs, 4 SSPs, and 11 SPs. Moreover, 30 ASPs and DSPs would also be performing their duties.

Other than this, more than 4,000 officers and personnel of Federal Police, 4,265 personnel of FC, 3,600 personnel of rangers, and more than 1000 officers of Sindh police will also be deployed in the march.

600 tear gas guns, 50,000 shells would be provided to the security personnel to deal in case of any inconvenience. 36,700 rubber bullets and more than 500 twelve-bore guns are also provided along with 374 vehicles.
