Islamabad Police introduces Complaint Management System for online FIR registration
The complainant will then receive E-Tag from the relevant police station via WhatsApp and SMS.
Citizens will no longer have to go to police stations for the registration of FIR as the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has introduced an online facility. The digital Complaint Management System (CMS) will allow the citizens to register their FIR from the comfort of their home.
Inspector General Ahsan Younus in a video message said that citizen can register their FIR on www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk as well as complaints.islamabad.gov.pk. After entering the necessary information, the relevant police station will register the complain.
The complainant will then receive E-Tag from the relevant police station via WhatsApp and SMS. Furthermore, registered complaint will be monitored by the senior police officers.
Following are the types of complaints you can register using the Complaint Management System:
- Registration of FIR
- Traffic Complaint
- Complaint against the police official
- Reservation on investigation
- Overseas complaint
- Foreigner complaint
- Complaint related to violence against women and children

Public can also call at 1715 where anyone can register their complaints about police officials. Inspector General Ahsan Younus urged the citizen to use this service to avoid waiting at the police stations.
