Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Dr. Samia Raheel Qazi became a center of trolls on Twitter after she compared hazmat suit with niqab. Captioning the image “Food for thought,” she compared a burqa-clad woman with one wearing a precautionary suit to protect herself from coronavirus.

World Health Organization (WHO) has declared Coronavirus as a global emergency after the outbreak has now spread outside China.

Here is what she posted:

She became a center of trolls and people mocked her for her absurd comparison.

”Wrong interpretations are considered a sin in our religion, so don’t worry about their lives, they are answerable of their own deeds”, one Twitter user commented.

“The main reason for this declaration is not what is happening in China but what is happening in other countries,” said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The virus could seriously harm countries with weaker health systems. Meanwhile, the United States (US) has told its citizens not to travel to China.

A level four warning has been issued by the state department and it has been said that the citizens in China ‘should consider departing using commercial means’. China has said that to bring back Hubei province residents who are overseas, it will send charter plans as soon as possible.
