James Faulkner leaves PSL midway over non-payment

James Faulkner has left the Pakistan Super League (PSL) midway over non-payment.

The Australian all-rounder took to his Twitter account to announce his withdrawal from the tournament. He apologised to the Pakistani fans.

“I apologise to the Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from the last 2 matches and leave the @thePSLt20 due to the @TheRealPCB not honouring my contractual agreement/payments. I’ve been here the whole duration, and they have continued to lie to me,” he wrote.

James Faulkner added that he wanted to help “to get international cricket back in Pakistan as there is so much young talent and the fans are amazing.” He termed the treatment from the PCB a “disgrace.”

The all-rounder hoped that the fans will understand his position.

  • Very bad.

I think PCB must take this matter very seriously.

Not honouring contract is a very serious allegation.
