England’s explosive right handed batter Jos Buttler is in the form of his life in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The Englishman has already scored three hundreds in the IPL so far.

The Rajasthan Royals batter has given solid starts to his team at the top of the batting order. Jos Buttler has scored 491 runs at an average of 81.83 in seven matches.

According to the English cricketer, former Pakistani cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed helped him become a better batter.  He credited the legendary Pakistani cricketer for his success.

“Mushtaq Ahmed always told me to hit on the off-side first and then come around to the leg-side. If you are looking only on the leg-side, you will never hit the ball on the off-side,” said Jos Buttler.

Thanks to his brilliant form with the bat, Rajasthan Royals are currently at number three on the IPL points table. They have won five out of their seven games in the tournament so far.

Last season, they finished the tournament at number 7 with only five wins. This year, the IPL 2008 champions will be hoping for Jos Buttler to continue his purple patch for the rest of the tournament.
