”Kamyab Jawan Program” has received one million loan applications so far
The government of Pakistan will provide loans worth Rs100 billion to youngsters for a period of five years.
“Around 44 percent of the loan applicants belong to the age cohort of 22-30,”
said Usman Dar.
‘Kamyab Jawan Programme’ (KJP), the initiative started by Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has received around one million loan applications in its first phase.
Prime Minister Youth Affairs Programme’s ‘Kamyab Jawan Programme’ (KJP) provides loan to youth, who want to start their own business or want to expand their current one. In three weeks after its launch, around one million applications have been received.
As per an official, PM’s Kamyab Jawan Programme has been receiving 80,000 to 100,000 applications daily, which itself is an example of the youth’s interest and success of the programme.
The official said that an amount of Rs. 100 billion has been allocated for the programme to assist one million youth across Pakistan.
He said that the programme was ambitious and unique, and its goal was to provide soft loans to people and create job opportunities for them with a follow-up strategy.
“A person can apply for a loan of Rs50, 000 up to Rs50,00,000 on easy returned back policy.” – said the programme officer.
What is ”Kamyab Jawan Program” about?
To give self-employment opportunities to individuals, the government of Pakistan launched the program to enhance entrepreneurial culture across Pakistan.
This program will help the youth of Pakistan to create opportunities and educate themselves when it comes to skill training, entrepreneurship and civic engagement. The government of Pakistan will provide loans worth Rs100 billion to youngsters for a period of five years.
