Kamyab Jawan Program receives overwhelming response by the youth across the country

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Kamyab jawan Program is on its way to progress. Within one week, loan applications around 433,149 haven been received so far.
On Friday, Usman Dar, PM’s special assistant on youth shared the details. He said the overwhelming response of PM’s Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) under the Kamyab Jawan Program has been received by the youth from all over Pakistan.
“Around 433,149 loan applications have been received online within a week under the scheme,” said Usman Dar.
Usman Dar together with Asad Umar, Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance conducted a thanksgiving meeting with the heads of participating bodies and his team members to appreciate them for the effective inauguration of the Kamyab Jawan Program and YES on 17 October by the Prime Minister.
Addressing the meeting, Usman Dar said, “Historic reception to the scheme has been given by the youth across Pakistan. 86 percent of the applicants are male, whereas 14 percent of females have applied for the scheme.”
Moreover, He added,” 77 percent of the applicants are from Punjab, 11 percent from KPK, 7 percent from Sindh, 2 percent from ICT, and 1 percent each from Balochistan, AJK, and GB”.
“Around 44 percent of the loan applicants belong to the age cohort of 22-30,” said Usman Dar.
What is Kamyab Jawan Program?
In order to give self-employment chances to jobless individuals, the government of Pakistan launches the program to enhance entrepreneurial culture across Pakistan.
This program will help the youth of Pakistan to create opportunities and educate themselves when it comes to skill training, entrepreneurship and civic engagement.
The government of Pakistan will provide loans worth Rs100 billion to youngsters for a period of five years.
