Prime Minister’s Youth Affairs Programme will educate 100,000 students about new technologies
Necessary funding to Higher Education Commission (HEC) and NAVTTC (National Vocational and Technical Training Commission).
PMYAP (Prime Minister Youth Affairs Programme) has decided to launch the ‘Start-up Pakistan Programme’ under the ‘Kamyab Jawan Programme’, to engage 100,000 students to learn about new technologies.
As per an official source, the goal of this initiative is to train one million students from numerous universities and technical colleges across Pakistan.
He said that the program would support all universities and vocational training centers in developing capacity in incubation services, which will lend students loans to start their own business.

The official also said that this program will provide the necessary funding to Higher Education Commission (HEC) and NAVTTC (National Vocational and Technical Training Commission) to enhance the development of Business Incubation Centers (BICs).
HEC’s BICs will give 500,000 pieces of training in entrepreneurship and provide mixed incubation for all HEC credited universities across Pakistan to graduate about 5,000 start-ups from BICs.
The program will also involve overseas Pakistanis, residing in developed nations to empower young technology entrepreneurs, guide them, open markets and invest their intellectual and financial capital.
