Karachi SHO calls robbers to meet her after ‘phone friendship’ but arrests them instead!

A female Station House Officer (SHO), Sharafat Khan, of Tipu Sultan police station, Karachi, has arrested an alleged robber and his accomplice after tricking one of them into friendship via phone conversations.
According to details, the SHO found the contact number of one of the alleged suspects who had robbed a citizen’s house 15 days ago.
After tracking the contact number, Sharafat called the alleged robber to pretend to be his friend so she could arrest him.
After having a friendly conversation with the suspect, the police officer showed willingness to meet him at a specific location.
She went to the area after changing her appearance. Later, Sharafat and a police team managed to arrest the alleged offender after he arrived at the planned location.
Police officials told a local news outlet that they recovered jewelry, cash, and a mobile phone from the robber’s possession. Moreover, his helper was also caught after being spotted by him.
