Khalil ur Rehman Qamar replaced in CPL due to abusive behaviour, foul language

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is no stranger to controversies. The renowned drama and film writer is once again making headlines due to his abusive behavior during the Celebrity Premier League (CPL).
CPL is ‘Pakistan’s biggest entertainment and drama industry cricket league. The country’s top showbiz celebrities are seen showcasing their cricketing skills during the CPL.
According to details, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was leading the Peshawar’s team during the cricket league. While doing this, he got into an argument with the opponent team members of Rawalpindi Stars. He was of the opinion that one of the opponent’s players wasn’t previously mentioned in their playing XI.
Qamar came on the field to argue despite the rules not allowing the captain to be on the field. The management reminded him that the whole thing is being broadcasted live and took him off the field.
Anchorperson Shahzad Iqbal told The Current regarding the controversy: “I was shocked to hear the foul language used by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. Families and children were there too. The man has no manners, no shame. Totally disgraceful.”
KRQ has been replaced by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s Zulfi Bukhari.
Not the first controversy during CPL
Before the Khalil ur Rehman’s controversy, the CPL was in the news headlines after actor Aijaz Aslam called out singer Tehseen Javed.
He advised the singer: “Tehseen Javed, your politics won’t work with us. If you enjoy politics then go join the political field otherwise go back to America. Don’t try to ruin our showbiz cricket team.”
