PRICE | SPECS | FEATURES: All you need to know about the latest KIA Sportage LX
Kia has recently announced the release of the new Sportage in a more basic LX trim level. While the overall design of the vehicle is the same, there are some changes in the features list. One of the major changes is that the new variant is going to be front-wheel drive only.
In a few significant changes, the LX will not feature a panoramic sunroof, fog-lights, or parking sensors. However, the new variant will come with 17-inch alloy rims, a 7 inch LCD based infotainment system, a manual handbrake, halogen projection headlights, halogen rear lights, and DRLs, not in a fancy quad-ice cube design.
On the other hand, the car does still feature its 2.0-liter petrol engine capable of making 155 horsepower and 196 Newton/Meters of torque that will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Plus, it can still be had with all the essential features such as dual-zone climate control, USB and AUX ports, driver-passenger airbags, steering controls for infotainment, Hill-start assists, downhill brake control and vehicle stability and traction control.
This new variant goes head to head with the Toyota Fortuner which starts around Rs. 7,699,000/- whereas Kia Sportage has a much reasonable price tag of Rs. 4,399,000/-. Both cars have a massive price difference of Rs. 3,300,000/-.
So while keeping the competition and the features offered by this new trim level, it is fair to claim that the car would be a good choice for you and your family!
