For the last two days, Twitter has been abuzz with posts from people, calling out Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt for their hypocrisy.

People soon pointed out that such ‘fake’ sympathy messages mean nothing right now, especially after Sushant is no more. The hashtag #BoycottBollywood and #BoycottKaranJohar has been trending on Twitter.

Posts on Twitter calling out the ‘Bollywood elite club,’ Karan and Alia in particular, have also gone viral.

Hypocrisy of Bollywood

Video clips of a Rapid Fire session on Karan’s Koffee with Karan show, featuring Alia, Sonam Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor is also being shared widely to point out how these celebrities thought of the late actor.

Sushant Singh Rajput was reportedly battling depression for the last six months. Most A-lister tweets spoke about how they wish he had reached out to them when he needed a friend, instead of dealing with it all by himself. Twitter, however, feels that when Sushant was alive, the very same people bullied him, pushed to a corner and forced him to cope alone, instead of supporting him or his work.

On the other hand, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again slammed Bollywood, saying that it never acknowledged Sushant’s talent. The actress also called out a section of the film fraternity to project the late actor’s “weak mind” as the reason for his suicide.
