CHECK HERE: Government introduces ‘Know Your Status’ portal for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program

The government has introduced the ‘Ehsaas Emergency Cash – Know Your Status’ portal to facilitate applicants as well as volunteers of the Cash program. The initiative will enable applicants to check the online status of their applications.
In this regard, the PM’s Special Assistant on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar stated,
“To ensure transparency, the final results of The Ehsaas Emergency Cash applications have been available on the portal after determining eligibility through data analytics and rule-based procedures. All applicants who have registered through 8171 can now easily check their eligibility status by entering their CNIC number on the portal.

The portal has been designed in association with NADRA. The link to the website is as follows:
Once the eligibility is verified through the portal, The Ehsaas Emergency Cash applicants can collect a cash amount of PKR 12,000 from their nearest payment site.

The web portal will also permit beneficiaries who face problems in their biometric verification to receive payments through designated banks without prior confirmation from NADRA.
Habib Bank in Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan, Bank Alfalah across KP, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir provide these services to the beneficiaries. Before payment collection, all recipients with biometric issues are notified through 8171 SMS to receive their due payments directly from banks mentioning the bank name, branch address, and date.
