Kotli Sattian to be developed as a new tourist point and an alternative to Murree
The government is chalking out a plan to develop the region and distinguish tourism localities.

The government is mulling over the idea to make Kotli Sattian a new tourist spot to help reduce congestion in Murree.
This was revealed by the Member National Assembly (MNA) Sadaqat Ali Abbasi.
Kotli Sattian is a tehsil subdivision of the Rawalpindi District. This subdivision is geographically a part of the Kahuta and Murree hills, which are a part of the Pir Panjal Mountain Range.

According to the MNA, a plan is in progress to build a tourism highway from Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pindori via Bostanabad to accommodate comfortable access to tourists for Kotli Sattian.

The government has already directed the relevant authorities to develop a thorough outline for the scheme within a couple of weeks.
According to Abbasi, the incumbent government aims to improve the living standards of the inhabitants and give them opportunities to earn their livelihood through tourism.

According to a commissioner office spokesperson, Kotli Sattian would be developed as an alternative to the popular tourist destination of Murree.

The provincial government is currently chalking out a plan to develop the region and distinguish tourism localities.
