The winning design will be made into a monument in collaboration with the private sector.
The KP government has launched a competition for artists to design a monument for COVID-19 frontline warriors.
The initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan, and the Special Assistant to the CM for Local Government and Rural Development, Kamran Bangash, aims to honor the frontline heroes who are risking their lives for the greater good of the country.

Workers, including doctors, paramedical staff, nurses, sanitation workers, police, and others who have been helping the government fight the epidemic will have a monument in their honor. Participants, including students, artists, organizations, and other professionals can submit their designs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Participants can also send their entries through the post. The postal address is:
Deputy Secretary Admin, Local Government Department, Police Line Road Civil Secretariat, Peshawar.
The artists will have to submit the drawings, sketches and can use online designing tools to participate in the competition.
The winning design will be made into a monument in collaboration with the private sector. The KP government has not announced the deadline of when the winning entry will be revealed.
