KP govt won’t let transporters play with lives of citizens: Crackdown launched against CNG kits

The district administration has launched a crackdown on public transporters using substandard CNG kits without fitness certificates.

The district administration has launched a crackdown on public transporters using substandard CNG kits without fitness certificates. The decision was taken by the administration after the CNG cylinder blast in a vehicle on Charsadda Road.

The administration constituted five teams to check all vehicles that are using roads of Peshawar. The teams have issued tickets to drivers who do not have fitness certificates.

Unlicensed, CNG cylinders and kits

The administration said that the government would not allow transporters to put the lives of citizens in danger by using unlicensed, CNG cylinders and kits.

The transporters are told to examine their vehicles and get a certification from the concerned authorities, or else, strict action would be taken against them.

Illegal construction

On Friday, the KP government has also taken action against invasion of illegal construction on the Nasir Bagh Road.

The government would continue to take action until the complete evacuation of illegal construction from state properties, including roads and tracks.
