‘Kunda connection’ cases are on the rise in Sukkur
After observing the case data provided by the officials, Senator Abro expressed concern as to why the electric cable hooking culture is taking so long to be eradicated.
According to reports, the Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) region has the largest number of electrical cable hooking or locally known as Kunda connections. A meeting was held in this regard by Senator Saifullah Abro, who chairs the Senate Standing Committee on Energy.

Officials attending the meeting briefed the Senator about the power theft data that has been collected in the region. According to details, 1,389,184 power theft cases from the direct line and several cases of meter manipulation have been identified by the authorities in various areas of Sukkur.
