LADIES FIRST: NADRA decides to reserve Fridays for women only
The initiatives are being taken to improve the lives of common people.
NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) has decided to reserve Friday for women only. The initiative is part of the steps being taken by different Ministries and Departments for public welfare.
As per the media reports, 64 new initiatives have been introduced to assist the public. Among them, 35 have been implemented already while 28 are still under process. The initiatives are being taken to improve the lives of common people, particularly the segments of the society that were neglected in the past.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued directives to introduce public initiatives to assist and accommodate the neglected segments of society.
The spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office has further said that every ministry and department will have its own five-member committee, which will be headed by a 20 Grade officer or a Joint Secretary.
The committee will be evaluating the performance of officers who are working to address the complaints on Pakistan Citizen Portal. PM Imran Khan has strictly directed to address the complaints registered on the redressal portal on a priority basis.
Prime Minister’s Office has directed all federal and provincial ministries, divisions and departments to submit their review reports within 30 days.
