Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Hamza Shafqat has suggested that everyone who attended the Lahore Ijtema must stay in isolation and get tested as soon as possible.

Despite warnings from the government, the Ijtema took place earlier this month. Around 250,000 people took part in the event. The first two confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Palestine also attended the conference in Pakistan.

The movement was founded by religious scholars decades ago. One of the event organizers Ehsanullah told news outlets that most of the participants had gone home, still, tens of thousands of people are here.
